We are Joe and Elle, founders of Kettle Coffee & Tea Co.

A few years ago, we moved from Arizona to Michigan to pursue our dream of homesteading. We now live on an incredible 4.5-acre property, complete with laying hens, rabbits, and a nice-sized garden. We preserve our own food and make our own compost. As you can imagine, this is a much different way of life than the one we used to live...and we absolutely LOVE it! There is something special
about hard physical work and living off the land.

One of our dreams is to leave our homestead to our children someday so that they and possibly, their children’s children can enjoy this property we love and cherish. We also started Kettle Coffee & Tea Co. to provide some financial stability to them someday.

We have always been passionate about coffee and tea, and Joe had experience in these areas when he served as an executive in the coffee and loose-leaf tea industries early in his career. So, we decided to leverage his expertise to source the absolute best coffee and tea products and flavors possible. After conducting exhaustive research and tasting numerous products, we found coffees and teas we knew we would be proud to offer. We then brainstormed on a name for the business and loved the connection Kettle had to early homesteaders. Once all the pieces were in place, Kettle Coffee & Tea Co. was born.

Ensuring our company is mission-based and operates on our core values is important to us. Giving back to our community is also very important to us, which is why we support a cause we are proud of.
